Tranmere story
Elkanah Onyeali was a Nigerian footballer and international who came to Birkenhead as a student and played for Tranmere Rovers in the early 1960s. He later played for Holyhead Town and Prescot Cables and moved into coaching. Onyeali represented Nigeria at senior level and died in 2008.
